8. Write a short composition on ‘Your Childhood Memories’ (250 words).

Your Childhood Memories

Childhood is the sweetest and most memorable period of a person’s life. Whenever I remember my childhood days, my heart fills with joy. I spent my early years in a small village where nature was my closest companion. I used to play with my friends in the open fields, run after butterflies, and swim in the nearby pond. Those carefree days are unforgettable.

One of my most memorable childhood moments was visiting my grandparents’ house during every vacation. My grandmother told me wonderful stories, and my grandfather took me to the market and bought me sweets. We played many traditional games like gollachut, kanamachi, and carrom.

Another memory I cherish is my first day at school. I was nervous, but soon I made new friends. Our teachers were kind and taught us with love. We used to share tiffin, sing songs, and enjoy different activities together. Every day seemed like a festival.

Childhood was full of innocence and happiness. There were no worries, no responsibilities—only joy and freedom. Even though those days are gone, the memories remain in my heart like a treasure. Whenever life becomes difficult, these memories give me strength and peace.
